Kraft Recalls 48 Tons Of Hot Dogs

Nearly 100,000 pounds of hot dogs are being recalled because they may have incorrect labels on the packages.

Federal food inspectors say the Oscar Mayer Classic Wieners packages may have cheese dogs in some of them, but the labels don’t include milk as an ingredient.

Kraft is voluntarily recalling about 96,000 pounds of hot dogs just to be safe.

The recall applies to 16-ounce consumer packages of Classic Wieners Made with Turkey & Chicken, Pork Added, with a use by June 16, 2014 date and product code 044700000632.

Once again, those cases may contain packages mislabeled as Classic Wieners.

If you have questions about the recall, you are asked to contact Kraft’s Consumer Relations Department at: 1-855-688-4386.
