A shocking twist to the case about the dogs in Langley that were reported missing last week, they are dead.
Corporal Holly Marks with Langley RCMP has confirmed the dogs’ bodies have been found in Abbotsford.
Marks says it appears they died of heat exhaustion in the back of the dog walker’s vehicle.
Langley RCMP Cpl. Holly Marks said in the press release, placed upon an animal advocacy site called petsearchers.com, that the dog walker admitted to lying about what happened. The dog walker told someone at petsearchers that she tried to avoid responsibility for her part in the deaths by claiming she returned to her truck last Tuesday to find the dogs gone.
“Upon arriving at the location and seeing her beloved charges deceased, she went into a blind panic at the thought of notifying the families and the possible repercussions,” a statement on Petsearchers.com said. “In a complete state of shock and panic, she made a desperate attempt to cover up what had happened and concocted a story to explain the loss of the dogs.”
