All eyes were on country singer Miranda Lambert as the blonde beauty flaunted her new toned physique at the 2013 CMT Music Awards Wednesday, June 4. Various reports claim that the blonde beauty dropped 45 pounds, but the question is how did she do it?
Miranda told Extra how she lost weight: “Not eating so much. I love to eat, drink and be merry, but turning 30 last year sort of kicked it into gear for me to get a little healthier.” Miranda also said she cut out “a lot of junk food” and started drinking juices, but didn’t give up alcohol.
The singer recently told PEOPLE the key to her successful weight loss is portion control and workouts with her trainer Bill Crutchfield. “We do cardio, a lot of circuit training. We do things with my body weight, like lunges. A lot of stuff with [resistance] bands, the stuff nobody loves, but works!”
