Florida women claim COVERGIRL mascara made eyelashes fall out

A woman in Florida is claiming that COVERGIRL’s “Bombshell” volume mascara made her eyelashes fall out.

Amy Schavolt, 21, was pleased with how great her lashes looked after using CoverGirl’s two-step Bombshell volume mascara, but when she tried to take it off, it was really difficult to remove. “I was wiping downward with the cotton ball and noticed a chunk of my eyelashes fell into the palm of my hand”, Schavolt told ABC15.

Schavolt insists that she applied the mascara as instructed, and yet found the “clumpy, gooey mess” almost impossible to remove. She was not the only one with issues. Plenty of other customers had similar complaints in the reviews for the Bombshell mascara on CoverGirl’s website.
