Commuters who use Howard Ave. north of Hwy.3 will have to adjust their route over the next month.
Parkway Infrastructure Constructors, the consortium building the Rt. Hon. Herb Gray Pkwy., says the closure starts at 7pm tonight, and is in addition to the closure of Howard Ave. south of Hwy.3. Traffic on Hwy.3 shouldn’t be affected
During the closure, a signed detour route will be available. Traffic heading southbound on Howard Avenue will detour down North Talbot Road east to Walker Road then south to Highway 3. Traffic heading northbound on Highway 3 will continue to use the roundabout to Highway 3 westbound.
Travellers can visit the roundabout information page to review how to navigate the roundabout.
Southwood Lakes residents will still have access from North Talbot Road.
People can visit the project website at www.hgparkway.ca or follow on Twitter @hgparkway for information regarding road closures. Questions and concerns can be directed to Windsor Essex Mobility Group Public Liaison Office at 1-877-937-5929 or via email at [email protected].
