One man is in hospital and one man is in custody after a machete attack in Kensington Market. Police say three men approached the victim in a park near Nassau Street and Bellevue Avenue just before 1 a.m. Then there was an altercation between the men and the victim was stabbed. He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Two Louisiana cops were arrested and charged for fatally shooting a six-year-old. The officers were also arrested, following a Louisiana State Police (LSP) review of body camera footage that captured the fatal encounter.

One person was killed and two others were injured during a shooting near Penn Station. An NYPD spokesman said the shooting occurred on in the subway station at Eighth Avenue and 35th Street at 6:14 a.m., following a dispute inside a nearby McDonald’s.
