A passenger on an Air Canada flight suffered a head injury and was rushed to the hospital when a propeller came lose and cut through the cabin, ABC News reported on Sunday. Christina Kurylo was flying from Calgary to Grande Prairie when a tire exploded during take off, causing the plane to crash land in Edmonton on Thursday.

Canada adds 43000 jobs in October, jobless rate down to 6.5 per cent

Canada’s jobs market has awoken from its slumber, but it may take some time for wages to catch up. Employers added 43,100 jobs in October, marking the first back-to-back months with job growth in nearly a year and driving the unemployment rate to 6.5 per cent – the lowest since November, 2008, Statistics Canada reported Friday.
