A young man is dead following a weekend of off roading.
Taber RCMP say they received a call Saturday following a collision between two off highway vehicles at a park northeast of Grassy Lake, a hamlet east of Lethbridge along the Crowsnest high way.
In all three people were injured. Two were taken by ground ambulance to hospitals in the area, and a 17-year-old male was flown from the scene by Stars air ambulance.
Police were later informed that the 17-year-old male died in the hospital. Currently, the names of the people involved in the collision are not being released.
At this time, it is unknown if alcohol was a factor in the collision.
Police are continuing with the investigation into the cause of the collision.
