A 70-year-old woman has died following a head on collision south of Wroxeter in Huron County.
Huron County OPP, along with members of the Brussels Fire Department and Huron County EMS, responded to the scene of a two vehicle crash on Brussels Line (County Road #12) between C Line Road and Gough Road shortly after 4:30p.m. Thursday afternoon.
Police determined a Chevrolet HHR wagon was travelling northbound on Brussels Line when it collided head on with a southbound Ford 500 sedan.
The lone occupant of the sedan, 70-year-old Kathleen Steckley of Bluevale, was transported to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The driver and lone occupant of the Chevy, 55-year-old Nancy Sewers from Teeswater, was airlifted to hospital in London where she remains with serious injuries.
