Police say that an attack on a man who was shot with an arrow at a Calgary parkade early Monday morning was targeted.
Duty Insp. Michael Watterston says the man drove himself to the Sheldon M. Chumir Centre around 3 a.m. MT but was taken by ambulance to Foothills Hospital, which specializes in trauma.
He is now in stable condition.
Earlier, police closed off the underground parkade of a condo building in the 800 block of Fourth Avenue S.W. where the incident is believed to have occurred. The parkade is now open to the residents.
“That will be part of the investigation for the investigators to try find CCTV cameras in the area where the incident happened,” said Watterston.
Investigators say the victim is co-operating but hasn’t yet been able to provide many details.
