Canada-wide warrant issued for prom slaying suspect, Police

The Ottawa Police Service Major Crime Section continues to investigate the homicide of 18-year-old Brandon Volpi that occurred on June 7th in the 100 block of Besserer Street.

The Ottawa Police Service has issued a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of Devontay HACKETT, 18 years old, of Ottawa, for one count of 2nd Degree Murder. He is described as a light brown skinned male, 6’0”(183 cm), 135lbs (61 kg), with short brown hair and brown eyes (see picture).
