Christopher Richardson says in his letter of resignation that the last six months have been challenging, yet exciting as the board took action to address chronic budgetary challenges and took steps to address seismic upgrades.
He says if time and circumstances align he would like to see future leadership roles, and he thanks his wife and two sons for their support and understanding during his time as chairperson .
A new chair will be decided next week.
The board is comprised of 4 NPA Trustees, 4 Vision Trustees, and one green – Janet Fraser – who will likely have the deciding vote .
