Surveillance video presented in court shows the panic and bloodshed of the 2012 Eaton Centre shootings, when Christopher Husbands opened fire in the food court of Toronto’s biggest downtown mall.

Husbands, 25, has pleaded not guilty to two counts of first-degree murder, five counts of aggravated assault and other charges stemming from the June 2, 2012 shooting.

The many surveillance video cameras inside the newly-renovated Eaton Centre captured the movements of Husbands and his girlfriend, LaChelle John, as they shopped for skates at SportChek and picked up food at Sushi Q where Husbands spotted a few men walking through the food court.

His shocking shootings were caught on videotape from several angles as he pursued and killed two men a short distance from where he stood in line for Japanese food.
