Police found human remains while searching Wednesday for the body of Catie Miller, but are not certain if they belong to the 29-year-old Dartmouth woman.
Police are not releasing the location of the remains to protect the investigation.
“It has yet to be determined if they are the remains of murder victim Catie Miller,” the release states. “The location of the discovery of the remains will not be released at this time to protect the on-going investigation.”
Two of the scenes that were being held were in Lawrencetown, one was in Port Dufferin and the other was in Goffs.
The same day around 7:30 a.m., homicide investigators arrested another man and woman related to the murder of Miller who was last seen in mid-July.
A 30-year-old woman was arrested at a Lawrencetown address; a 30-year-old man was arrested in Port Dufferin.
They were still being questioned as this latest news was released and charges are anticipated.
