A 17-year-old is facing charges of assault with a weapon after he allegedly sprayed two other teenagers with a sensory irritant in Bedford early Thursday morning.
Around 12:45 a.m., police say two 15-year-old boys were at Rocky Lake Drive and Scotia Drive when a person known to them sprayed them with a sensory irritant and fled the area.
The 17-year0old was arrested a short time later by police and has been charged with two counts of assault with a weapon and breach of probation.
Police say the victims had their eyes treated by paramedics at the scene and were returned home.
