A male teen is dead following a shooting at a housing complex in Hamilton, Ont. Wednesday night.
Police responded to 9-1-1 calls about a shooting in the parking lot of a CityHousing complex on MacNab Street North at around 8:30 last night.
That’s where they found the victim, 18-year-old Shariek Douse, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say it is too early in the investigation to determine whether the shooting was a targeted or random attack, or if it is gang-related.
Investigators are asking people to come forward with information.
Last November, in the same parking lot, a 17-year-old boy was shot and suffered non life-threatening injuries.
