Conservative candidate Jerry Bance was caught on CBC-TV’s Marketplace in 2012 urinating in a homeowner’s coffee mug and dumping the contents into the sink.
The Toronto candidate was caught in the act during a TV show’s expose on the home repair industry three years ago.
Bance – who was the owner of an appliance repair company – can be seen looking into the next room to make sure his customer isn’t watching before squattng to relieve himself.
The oddball then pours the urine into the sink and turns around to zip up his trousers.
The damaging footage was from a 2012 episode of CBC-TV’s show Marketplace and has only just been unearthed.
The embarrassed candidate said he was extremely sorry for his actions.
“I deeply regret my actions on that day,” Bance said in a statement.
“I take great pride in my work and the footage from that day does not reflect who I am as a professional or a person.”
The three-time candidate is running for the House of Commons in Toronto’s swing Scarborough Rouge Park district.
