Police arrested a man in Regina on Sunday night after receiving reports of someone carrying a gun outside of a bingo hall.
Officers arrived at the scene in the city’s north end shortly before 9 p.m. CT.
According to police, the 29-year-old waited outside the hall and asked bingo players for money as they entered the establishment.
Unsuccessful in getting cash outside, the man entered the hall, grabbed money off a table and fled through a side door.
Regina police confronted the man as he was leaving the scene and arrested him without incident.
The man will face several charges including armed robbery, possession of a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and fail to comply with undertaking.
