Police have charged the husband of a woman found dead in a Vaughan home on Wednesday afternoon with second-degree murder.
Police said they were called to a home on Gilmore Crescent shortly after 2 p.m. on Wednesday. They were told that a woman had been injured.
When officers arrived, they found a deceased 36-year-old woman. Police have not released her cause of death.
Two men in the residence were arrested without incident.
On Thursday, officers said that the husband of the victim had been charged with second-degree murder. He has not been publicly identified. The second man was released unconditionally.
The 43-year old husband will appear in court on October 15th.
