Halifax Regional Police have laid charges against a woman in the fatal stabbing of 59-year-old Bradley Gerald Knoll in Dartmouth yesterday.
Police say Michelle Florence Rhyno, 53, is facing charges of manslaughter and robbery after she was arrested on Thursday around 4:30 a.m.
She was remanded to the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility overnight and is set to appear in Dartmouth provincial court today.
Police also say a 22-year-old man, who was arrested Thursday afternoon in connection to the incident, still remains in police custody and no charges have been laid against him.
Officers initially responded to a report of a fight on the sidewalk outside Big Life Cafe on Portland Street on Thursday around 2:14 a.m.
Upon arrival, the discovered 59-year-old Bradley Gerald Knoll unconscious, laying on the ground. He was later pronounced dead by emergency response teams.
