A Burlington man has been jailed in Indonesia on allegations of child sexual abuse at a Jakarta school.
Forty-five-year-old Neil Bantleman has spent the past four years working as a learning co-ordinator at the Jakarta International School.
Guy Bantleman says his brother is innocent, and his family is looking for help from Foreign Affairs.
Bantleman’s wife says her husband has not been formally presented with any evidence. Indonesian law allows police to hold suspects for up to 30 days without laying charges.
Back at home hundreds have rallied around Bantleman, launching a letter writing campaign to the Canadian embassy. More than 14-hundred people are offering their support on a facebook page.
