New Brunswick is getting a blast of winter weather today, prompting Environment Canada to issue snowfall warnings for much of the province.
The storm, which hit Saturday night, was expected to continue until Sunday afternoon.
A weather warning issued for much of the province said northerly wind gusts of up to 90 km/h could be expected and residents should stay home and off the roads.
“Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions,” the warning from Environment Canada said. “Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.”
