A teenage boy is dead after he was stabbed outside a mall in the city’s west end on Friday.
The teen collapsed in a parking lot behind a mall located on the southwest corner of Dufferin and Dupont streets at around 12:30 a.m. Friday before being found by two women, police said.
Toronto Police say emergency crews performed CPR on the victim at the scene, but he died of his injuries in hospital.
Two suspects – one female and one male – have been arrested, police confirm.
In another incident, a 21-year-old woman was stabbed at a lounge on Danforth Ave. following a fight at about 1:45 a.m.
Police say another stabbing on the platform of Warden subway station in the east end a short time later saw a 15-year-old boy taken to hospital with a leg wound.
These stabbings follow another on Thursday evening in Mississauga in which two people were stabbed during a knife fight and taken to hospital in serious condition. Peel Regional Police say two people have been taken into custody.
