The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have made a terrorism related arrest in Prince Edward Island.
RCMP aren’t saying much at this point, but they confirm that Amir Raisolsadat was arrested following a Peace Bond.

RCMP confirm the suspect was released on conditions and will appear in court again on April 20th.
This comes as the federal government continues to try and push through its anti-terror bill arguing new rules are needed to battle extremists.
The opposition has been critical, saying arrests like this prove the police don’t need added powers to do their job.
