RCMP are searching for five youth missing from a northern Saskatchewan community, but the Mounties say poor weather has hampered the effort.
Southend RCMP report that they were notified on Thursday night that two girls and three boys between the ages of 13 and 17 were missing after they failed to return from a trip to Reindeer Lake.
A major search is now underway involving community volunteers, Civil Aviation Search and Rescue, and RCMP officers.
Officers report that bad weather has hampered the search so far.
No details have been released on the identity of the five children or what they were doing when they went missing.
