One man is dead and and another has been taken to hospital in stable condition after a two vehicle crash in the southeast.
It happened just before 6:00 this morning on eastbound Glenmore Trail at 68th St. S.E. One of the vehicles rolled.
“There’s a lot of physical evidence that we find at the scene”, explains Staff Sgt. Paul Stacey. “Right now we have our Collision Reconstruction Unit on scene, and they’re gathering up all of that physical evidence. That will really tell us the story about what happened.”
Police don’t yet know if charges will be laid.
“No indication of alcohol [being involved] at this point,” explains Sgt. Stacey. “It looks like the primary cause of the collision was an unsafe left-hand turn by the SUV that was going westbound.”
Speed may also be a factor in the collision.
