Police have laid charges against three people accused of forcing a 17 year old girl into prostitution, and they think there could be more victims.
Police allege that two men and a woman assaulted, threatened and forced the 17-year-old girl into it, and took her to hotels in Mississauga and Scarborough.
She was kept against her will and guarded in the the rooms, as well as robbed of all her personal belongings.
Michael Campbell, 30, faces a total of 10 charges, including trafficking in persons, forcible confinement, procuring a person to become a prostitute, and uttering a death threat.
Twenty-three-year-old Timothy Hewton faces four charges, including living on the avails of juvenile prostitution, trafficking in persons, and use of an imitation firearm during the commission of an indictable offence.
Serena Timbury Welcome, 20, is charged with five offences, including trafficking in persons, forcible confinement, and living on the avails of juvenile prostitution.
All three were scheduled to appear in court Monday morning.
Police believe there may be more victims.
