A 52-year-old woman has been charged with second-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of her older sister inside the west-end home they both shared.
Emergency crews were called to the scene near St. Clair Avenue West and Old Weston Road around 1 p.m. where they found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds to her torso.
The woman, whose identity will not be released until her next of kin is notified, was rushed to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries but later succumbed to her injuries.
Det. Murray Barnes said the two women were staying on the main floor of the home and that the victim was visiting from Vietnam.
