Provincial police say a 54-year-old woman was killed when her car went off the westbound lane of the 401 near Highway 6 north.
There were three other people in the car who were treated for minor injuries but are expected to be alright.
At about 3 p.m. on Sunday, (April 20), a late-model silver Honda CRV was westbound on Highway 401, just west of Highway 6 (North) in Puslinch Township. The vehicle left the roadway and entered the right ditch, re-entered the roadway and collided with the centre concrete median and came to rest.
One rear seat passenger, a 54-year-old female resident of Toronto was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other three occupants of the vehicle suffered non life-threatening injuries and were transported to hospital.
