Trevor Seraphine : 17-year-old killed in Etobicoke shooting

A 17-year-old boy is dead after an overnight shooting at an apartment complex in Etobicoke.

The shooting happened at 44 Willowridge Road near Martin Grove Road and Eglinton Avenue West around 2 a.m., Toronto Paramedic Services said.

Police say when they arrived at the building they found the victim with apparent gunshot wounds. He had no vital signs when he was taken to hospital and was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

He has been identified as Trevor Seraphine. Police are appealing to anyone who may have heard or seen anything to contact police.
