The search for a man wanted in a child pornography investigation has come to an end.
Toronto police have confirmed Darren Padilla, 47, who worked with the TTC, was found dead in the Haliburton County area, earlier this week.
Less than a week ago, police put out a search warrant for Padilla.
He was accused of possessing and accessing child pornography, and, according to police, aware of their investigation.
TTC spokesperson Brad Ross confirmed Padilla was an employee, but did not say where he worked or how long he had been employed by the Toronto Transit Commission. Police said Padilla was a bus driver, with access to “multiple” fire arms.
