Two people were killed and two others injured in a rollover north of Calgary on Sunday.
On Sunday at approximately 10 p.m., Sundre RCMP were called to a single-vehicle crash on Highway 22, near Township Road 340. The car was found off the highway, and in a report RCMP suggested it had rolled, coming to rest upright.
According to EMS, one female passenger in her 40s was ejected from the vehicle. The female driver, who EMS said was in her 30s, was unconscious and trapped inside the wreckage with critical, life-threatening injuries.
Both women were rushed to hospital, one by STARS air ambulance and one by ground ambulance. RCMP say they are in stable condition.
The two male passengers in the rear of the vehicle died at the scene.
Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the crash, RCMP said.
