A female employee was fatally injured in an accident at an underground gold mine in Ontario over the weekend.
St Andrew Goldfields Ltd. (TSX-SAS) (OTCQX-STADF), (“SAS” or the “Company”) is saddened to advise of a fatal incident that occurred May 23, 2015, at its Holt Mine, located 125 km east of Timmins, Ontario. A Company employee, Alexie Dallaire-Vincent, 22, was involved in an underground rail haulage accident, which fatally injured her.
The Ontario Provincial Police have attended onsite, and in conjunction with the Ontario Ministry of Labour, and the Company, all parties are proceeding with the investigation of this tragic incident.
