Calgary police were searching Sunday for a driver who pinned a woman beneath his vehicle before fleeing on foot.
Stuart Brideaux with EMS said the crash was in a parking lot.
“On arrival, EMS determined a woman in her mid-thirties had somehow been struck, pinned, and then run over by a second vehicle into her own vehicle,” Brideaux said.
The woman is in serious, potentially life-threatening condition.
At this point police are unsure if the woman was the driver of another vehicle or a pedestrian.
Police are looking for a teenage male, possibly of east Indian decent.
