Joseph Maiorano : Escaped US convict arrested in Toronto

An American fugitive spotted this week in Oakville has been captured, Toronto Police say. Anthony Joseph Maiorano, 32, was convicted of aggravated assault in 2007 and had been serving a 20-year sentence at a Georgia correctional facility when he was released on a day pass in April.
