A YouTube video showing two drivers racing down Calgary streets in April has resulted in charges against one of the two drivers.

A Canadian man is suing a Montreal-area hospital for negligence after he said surgery on his penis ended up shortening it and preventing him from having sex, thus ruining his marriage.

Police are investigating a fatal crash after a vehicle was located down an embankment Thursday afternoon during their search for three people reported to be missing in the area. Wednesday (June 11) afternoon, Lytton RCMP were alerted to a report of three missing people who were due to return from the Pasulko Lake area.

The RCMP is leading a major operation operation across the province against what it is calling two Italian-based organized crime cells. The operation involves 200 officers and is being executed in some 30 locations, including in Montreal, Quebec City, Laval and Gatineau. They have warrants for 32 people who are all considered violent and dangerous.

RCMP are investigating a fire that claimed the life of a 49-year-old Bible Hill woman. The Bible Hill Fire Department and RCMP officers responded to a structure fire at a mobile home in Bob Lee Court at about 5 p.m. on Tuesday. Firefighters extinguished the fire and discovered the woman’s body.

Three people were injured, including a police officer, after a shooting outside a Yaletown Starbucks and Science World late Monday morning in Vancouver. Vancouver Police say they arrived at Davie Street and Marinaside Crescent around 11 a.m. to find an injured woman. She was transported to hospital in serious condition.

A new grant program will help municipalities better protect their residents, property, and infrastructure from the effects of floods or droughts. Municipalities, First Nations, and Metis Settlements province-wide may apply for funds from the Alberta Community Resilience Program for projects that protect critical municipal infrastructure from flooding and drought.
