Police have laid charges against three people accused of forcing a 17 year old girl into prostitution, and they think there could be more victims. Police allege that two men and a woman assaulted, threatened and forced the 17-year-old girl into it, and took her to hotels in Mississauga and Scarborough.

Caught in an avalanche north of Revelstoke, a German heli-skier has been killed. RCMP Staff Sgt. Kurt Grabinsky says the morning slide occurred in the backcountry and buried the heli-skier in as much as three metres of snow. Bystanders dug out the man who received medical treatment at the scene, but Grabinsky says he died from his injuries.
