Two vehicles hit and killed a buffalo, the animal, Tuesday morning on the QEW near Lyons Creek Road in Niagara Falls, just about 25 kilometres from Buffalo, the city. The people in the vehicles sustained minor injuries, police said.

One man is dead after a brazen, targeted shooting at a strip mall on Vancouver’s west side. A 65-year-old man and a nine-year-old boy are dead and four other people are in hospital, all but one with critical injuries, after a multi-vehicle collision in Vaughan Sunday afternoon. “Numerous people were taken to hospital, some were children reportedly, as well.
