One young man has been arrested in connection with the devastating fires in Owen Sound . Police In Owen Sound have arrested a 17 year old boy from Chatsworth and charged him with 16 counts of arson endangering life and 5 counts of arson.

RCMP were on-scene Friday afternoon at a stretch of Highway 101 near Windsor, N.S., where two collisions occurred within the same hour, claiming one woman’s life. According to a release, RCMP say a transport truck hauling an excavator struck the exit at the Falmouth overpass around 1 p.m.

A 12-year-old girl has died after a horse fell on her before a parade in Shelburne, Ont. Prior to the start of the annual Fiddlefest parade scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, the young rider was in the staging area when her horse reared up, knocking her off.
