Chrissy Teigen shared her first snap of newborn daughter Luna on Instagram on Tuesday.
The 30-year-old model cradled her baby girl while wearing a lowcut black blouse in the outdoor photo.
They both look natural, zen, and very, very happy.
“We’re not going to go out of our way to hide because obviously it’s such a big part of our lives to show everything: the inside of our homes, my parents living with us, our animals, everything,” Teigen told People back in March of her and husband John Legend’s decision to share photos of their daughter on social media. “I’m not going to do sneaky back shots of her or anything.”
In February, Chrissy revealed that she had chosen to have a little girl during the IVF process. Explaining her decision to have a daughter, Chrissy said: “I think I was most excited and allured by the fact that John would be the best father to a little girl. That excited me.”
She added: “It excited me to see … just the thought of seeing him with a little girl. I think he deserves a little girl. I think he deserves that bond. A boy will come along. We’ll get there too, so it’s not like we really have to pick. But he definitely is very lucky to have a little girl. And this girl is going to be so completely lucky to have John as her papa — it’s crazy!”
