The famous “Fleur de Lys” mansion in Los Angeles is now up for rent for $40,000 a month. The lease offer comes just days after it sold for an astounding $102 million, making it the most expensive sale in L.A. county’s history.
Fleur de Lys claims roughly 50,000 square feet of living space on five acres. The France/East Coast-inspired estate is a dozen years old and was designed as a decorative arts museum of sorts. About $8 million in French antiquities were auctioned before the mansion was sold.
Amenities include a ballroom for parties up to 500, a dozen bedrooms and a swimming pool and spa complex.
Prequalified tenants will have to pony up a $1-million security deposit.
Fred Bernstein and Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency, who sold the behemoth record-breaker, are also the leasing agents.
