Texas’ iconic Waggoner Ranch for sale for $725 million.
The iconic Waggoner Ranch spans 510,000 acres and is spread over six counties. It’s even bigger than all of New York City. The ranch is one of the nation’s largest privately owned ranches.
The ranch is located about 175 miles northwest of Dallas-Fort Worth and it’s probably the biggest ranch in the country to be contained “behind one fence,” Bernard Uechtritz with Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, a Dallas-area firm listing the property, told Chron.com.
“This is a Wall Street or Silicon Valley entrepreneur’s last chance to buy the next King Ranch,” Uechtritz said referring to another massive ranch in South Texas. “It’s the only other ranching brand that has all the attributes and opportunities that the King Ranch does.”
