Game of Thrones is coming to the big screen. No, the fantasy series by George R.R. Martin is not being adapted into a feature film. But fans will be able to watch the season finale on the silver screen (to the tune of $10).
Theatres in Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada will screen the concluding instalment June 15.
In St. John’s, Cineplex Cinemas in the Avalon Mall will simulcast the episode at 10:30 p.m.
Admission is $10, which includes a concession voucher for the same value, plus entry into a draw for “Game of Thrones” prizes. Tickets are available at the box offices of participating theatres.
The dark fourth season of the epic fantasy series has been the most-watched to date on HBO Canada, according to a news release.
