A quadruple rainbow was spotted Tuesday morning in Glen Cove, New York, by a commuter waiting for the train at the Long Island Rail Road station. Amanda Curtis took a picture of the rare event, showing four rainbows in one Twitter photo.
The fashion boss shot the photograph in Long Island and wrote “Today will be 4 pots of #gold #lucky #chasetherainbow.”
The first photograph of a quadruple rainbow is only believed to have been captured in 2011.
Ms Curtis, who is a chief executive of a fashion company, told Express.co.uk: “It’s completely real. It was at 6.30am and I snapped the photo before getting on the train to go to work.
“It was a moment of awe. The horn from the train broke the moment so I snapped the photo and ran to the train. I knew I had to share it with the world.”
The photograph has since gone viral and has been shared nearly 400 times.
She added: “I feel so lucky! I’m a startup founder and my biggest challenge is getting word out about my business Nineteenth Amendment and the quadruple rainbow is helping me do that.
“It’s better than winning the lottery – it’s one of the best things that could have happened to me!”
She later tweeted: “Glad I can #sharetherainbow and hopefully spread some luck :)”
