A strengthening Tropical Storm Arthur has threatened to put a damper on July Fourth holiday weekend plans across Delaware, but forecasters said “beautiful” weather would settle over the region’s beaches by Saturday.
It’s already postponed a display in Norwalk, which was scheduled for Thursday and has been moved back to Saturday.
“Arthur will mainly miss us, but the storm will affect us as it pushes out to sea,” said Meteorologist Erika Martin. “I am confident the rain will pretty much ruin fireworks for the 3rd.”
Martin said that temperatures will start to drop by Friday with mainly 80′s and a few upper 70′s.
