Dick Maugg, who played the always silent cohort Ed Jaymes in the 1980s Bartles & Jaymes wine cooler ads is dead at 83. Dick Maugg died almost three months ago, on July 28 following a battle with cancer. His family kept his passing private as Maugg’s daughter was also battling cancer and she died earlier this month.
