Patrick Hardison, a Mississippi firefighter who suffered disfiguring burns to his face 14 years ago received a face transplant, thanks to a Brooklyn man. In what has been described as a “historic achievement,” 41-year-old Patrick Hardison’s burned face was peeled off and replaced with that of 26-year-old New York cyclist David Rodebaugh.
