A new major update for 1Password for Android has been released today and it’s available for download immediately from the Google Play Store.
Up to now, the app only required you to type in a single password to log into accounts. Of course, if your one password to rule them all is lengthy and ultra-secure, that can be a pain. Now, you’ll be able to log in using your phone’s fingerprint scanner.
The feature is restricted to phones using Android Marshmallow’s fingerprint support though, so those with phones running earlier versions of Android won’t be able to take full advantage of the update.
The latest update makes the app look better, bringing it in line with Google’s Material Design style, and also lets you share passwords with teams.
You can read more about this update by checking out AgileBits’ official blog post regarding the update, and if you want to give 1Password a spin for yourself, click the button below to download it from the Google Play Store.
