More than two dozen drivers in Perth County have learned an expensive lesson about using an electronic device while driving.
According to the OPP, a total of 27 drivers received $490 tickets for using electronic devices while driving.
One person was also charged with careless driving.
The OPP spent March Break paying particular attention to distracted drivers across the province.
They say using a phone while driving has been found to be as dangerous as driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs.
To the north of Perth County, South Bruce OPP say they laid 11 distracted driving charges and one careless driving charge during the week of March Break.
