A U.S. woman has been arrested on six counts of murder after police discovered the bodies of seven infants at her home in northern Utah, authorities said on Sunday. It is believed the infants, including one thought to be stillborn, were born over a 10-year period.
Police said the corpses were found in six packages in the home in which Huntsman lived until 2011.
Pleasant Grove police went to Huntsman’s home on Saturday after receiving a report of a dead infant from her ex husband, the Tribune reported.
He is believed to be the father of the dead kids but DNA test have yet to prove that.
His parents own the home and Huntsman’s three teenage daughters still live there, a neighbour told the Tribune.
The ex found the bodies while cleaning out the garage on Saturday. He was planning to move back into the home this summer, the Tribune reported.
Six bodies in cardboard boxes were discovered in the garage when police executed a search warrant.
